Meet the Advocates Behind the Movement

The Project 26 team is a passionate group of politically engaged individuals, environmentalists, and dedicated pet owners committed to ending the chaos caused by fireworks. We began as a small group, but over time, we have grown into a substantial movement, gaining support from various sectors concerned about the detrimental effects of fireworks. Together, we're working tirelessly to build a safer and more harmonious world.

Project 26

Thomas “Tommy Boy” Coccia Chief Operating Officer

Thomas "Tommy Boy" Coccia has worked in Government Affairs for over 15 years. He has been involved in political campaigns and social causes for the last 30 years. He created the Political Action Committee Boycott Fireworks 2026 as a 2-year initiative to legislate at every governmental level for the ban of all fireworks. On July 4th, 2024 Project 26 launched as a 2 year initiative to ban all fireworks in the United States by the Quarter Millennial in 2026. As a social cause fireworks are the only event that hurts humans, affects the environment, and is cruel to animals at the same time and there is no political will to eradicate the problem. Very few municipalities have taken the necessary steps needed and our cause aims to fix that sooner than later.
